One of the largest senior populations in the country is in rural Lincoln County, Maine. An aging population with little to no public transportation, the area faces wide spread senior isolation. A senior-led volunteer group drives their more isolated peers, and in the process, builds community.

While facing an eight-year battle with multiple myeloma, Mary Jo Taylor received companionship from Jeffrey Wood, resulting in a great friendship and the creation of eHope. Kai Lindemulder documents the work done by Wood and other volunteers and caregivers who provide community and hope to patients facing life-threatening illnesses.
